Daniel Craig, M.P.A. is an award-recognized nonprofit leader, former Special Education teacher, and children’s book author dedicated to helping kids understand and manage big emotions.
After spending 21 years supporting students with autism and behavioral challenges, Daniel saw how overwhelming emotions can be for children—and how powerful the right tools can be. That experience inspired his debut book, Lil Buddy Gets Upset, the first title in the Lil Buddy series.
Through relatable storytelling, Daniel created Lil Buddy to remind children that it’s okay to feel upset and that emotions are a natural part of growing up. His goal is to spark meaningful conversations between children, parents, and educators while building confidence and emotional awareness.
Daniel holds a Master’s degree in Public Administration, has received the Daily Point of Light Award, and was honored in London during the coronation of the King of England for his community impact. Lil Buddy Gets Upset is published under Lil Buddy, LLC.
